Losing Weight
We are reaching epidemic obesity problems in America and the danger to your health is growing daily. Many of the most serious diseases affecting our country are directly caused by obesity. And, most of these are preventable, including: diabetes, cancer, arthritis and high blood pressure. You will be able to remedy and control these diseases by losing weight.
Knowing enough about natural, healthy weight loss to make solid, informed choices cuts down on the fear factor. Quick, weight loss methods, whether through pills, dietary drinks or dietary supplements, do not give you lasting results. The ‘fad’ diets have been around as long as I can remember and the weight you do lose, even though it is rapid, is not lasting.
It is in your best interest to choose a program that offers lifetime results. A lifestyle change – not a diet – is going to be so much easier to keep up with. You can plan realistic goals and not count on losing a lot of pounds in a short period of time.

Obesity means having too much body fat. It is different from being overweight, which means weighing too much.
Don’t starve yourself! The key to losing weight and keeping it off is do NOT diet! Starving yourself is not a lasting method to keeping weight off. Yes, you will lose weight fast but your body will not tolerate this for long as you need food to keep up the energy you use each day. If you get used to skipping one or two meals a day, your stored calories will be used up instead of the energy that should have been provided by your meals. So if you just eat one huge sandwich a day, it will end up on your problem areas, thighs, buttocks, hips and belly…. exactly where you don’t want it!
Starvation is NOT the answer. There are much better ways to lose weight and keep it off for a lifetime.
