Immersing our organisms in a body cleanse process cannot be done out of the blue. We are going to produce a significant change in our organism and it is important that we prepare for it both physically and mentally. A couple of days before your cleansing program start meditating. Unless you are used to this practice, just try for a two or three minutes per day to clear your mind of all thoughts and worries. If you can do it very early in the morning or in the evening, it is much better. Sit on the floor with your legs crossed like an Indian and your back straight. Close your eyes and take a deep breath… and just focus on your breath.
During the cleansing program fill your body with fresh fruits and vegetables and plenty of water and juices. Try to avoid dairy products, especially if they are not skimmed, processed foods and too much animal protein. Your objective these days is to speed up your digestion so that your bowels move faster.
Take your time to do things. Don’t pretend to run from one place to the other because your body will not let you. Just take things easy and slow down your life rhythm. Enjoy this new you.
Do some physical exercise. Avoid long training sessions but do go for a walk round the park or ride your bike. Look at the landscape around you and have a nice time.
